Pitru Paksha Mela is a religious gathering for the period of 16 days September – August in the monsoon season.

PITRA DOSH NIVARAN
Tarpan karma, praying pitra by offering clothes, food, and respect to Brahmins. This is performed if anybody has pitra dosh in the Kundli to get rid of the ill effect of this dosha.
TIRPINDI SHRADH
For someone who died unnaturally, like in an accident, TIRPINDI SHRADH is performed for the peace of the departed soul.
KALSHARPYOG POOJA
This pooja is performed for those who have Kalsharpyog Dosh in the kundli. This dosh can bring a threat to health and finance to one’s life.
KALSHARPYOG pooja becomes mandatory for those who want to get rid of this dosha for peace and prosperity in life.

Pitru paksha date 2020: 1 September 2020 to 16 September 2020
Pind daan starts from Bhadrapada and goes up to the next 16 days till Sarva Pitru Amavasya.
